Al 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2015 I'm on the road of 3D printing at work. Getting on OK but the software, there is so much but nothing that hits my sweet spot. The basic one's are just too basic but seriously easy to use, the one's I should be using frustrate the crap out of me. they seem overally complicated just to make a box. The simple one is Tinkercad with is a web based 3D tool, stupidly simple but with a couple missing features. I have blender but it overwhelms me when I fire it up. Anyone got any idea's on 3D software I could use? I don't need to make complicated stuff but need all the options.

Tachikoma 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2015 Dunno if it's still current, but I used to use AutoCAD in college and found it a piece of piss to use, you could knock out pretty much anything in minutes, just do it in layers then extrude, much easier than trying to juggle multiple 3D shapes.
