  1. Horizon: Zero Dawn (PS4) Bloody awesome game. I am going to give it a couple of weeks before I jump into the DLC, but I will get around to it.
  2. Prey is part of the 2 for £25 deal on PSN atm. It's a steal at that price.
  3. This is up there for my game of the year. I really enjoyed it. How did you spec your character? I went pretty much full human, and didnt really mess about too much with the alien abilities.
  4. This is on it's way to me from Amazon. I have am in London all week next week for work, so I'm sure this will get some decent play.
  5. Me too, but I know deep down that I just would play it.

    Skyrim

I treated myself to the Switch version of Skyrim, and it is awesome. I have only played in portable, and sure it'll look like arse when docked, but it is Skyrim on a handheld!

  8. Yep. There is not a price at which I will be willing to support this exploitative pile of shite.
  9. I have played maybe 3 hours and I am loving it. It is very imaginative and I love how there is always another moon to find. The moons do feel less valuable than the stars did in previous game, but the fact that there are so many means there is a very good reason to explore. I looks very nice, and I am liking the 60 fps lock. I
  10. The switch is my most often played Nintendo console since the GameCube. I am really loving it as a TV console, and the fact that I can take it on the go is just an awesome bonus.
  11. http://uk.ign.com/articles/2017/10/23/first-13-original-xbox-games-announced-for-xbox-one-compatibility Check your library, as you may be like me, and already own a few. I may have to buy Crimson Skies, as I seem to remember it was awesome.
  12. I am considering a planning a dry November in prep for all of the Christmas madness. Also, I bounced off Destiny 2 hard. After this and The Division, I think I can say that this kind of game is not for me. Not enough time, and I can never commit to play on a certain day due to kids and on call.
  13. I cant wait for my copy to arrive. It's rare these days that I really look forward to a new game, but I am genuinely excited to play it.
  14. I liked the first Risen, but it was very janky. Is this any more polished, or is it still a bit rough.
  15. I am waiting for it to hit sub-£20 on the PS4. I enjoyed the timed demo thing they released though.

    Redout

Yeah, this looks like a perfect game to grab on the Switch. Also, watching the trailer has reminded me that I really should play some more of the Wipeout collection on PS4.
  17. Up until this year, I was a PC gamer, playing mostly in my study sat my desk, and rarely venturing into the living room to game. However since getting a nice big 4k tv and a ps4 pro, and am a bit of convert. I still like the games that you can't play from a sofa, like strategy and some RPG's, but given the choice, I will slump into my living room and play something consoley. This may all change when I finally pick a new PC monitor, and I am lured back by the shiny, but right now, I choose comfort. So where do you prefer to game?
  18. Yep, I'll be up for giving it a go.
  19. I really want this, but not enough to buy a 3DS. Really, why are Nintendo still releasing games for the 3DS, when the Switch is out there waiting for more decent games?!
  20. I am liking this game, but the level design while interesting, is batshit insane. I never know where I am, or which direction I should be going. Sure, I know that ultimately I want to get to the far right, but there are several paths that go left before veering right again. There doesn't seem to be a massive amount of skill involved in the game, and most of what I am doing is pressing either left or right depending on which direction the last bumper or speed pad propelled me. I know all 2D Sonic games had this to a degree, but I'm sure there was more actual platforming in Sonic 1 and 2 than I've seen so far in Sonic Mania. It may make more sense on repeated runs, but my first playthrough feels like a rollercoaster, which while fun, does not actually require much input from me, the player.
  21. You're going to make a great dad.
  22. I dont know if its just me, but so far this is just more Destiny. Nothing I have seen would have been above and beyond what I would expect from a expansion pack. I am still enjoying it, but I was hoping for a bit more.
  23. I'm going to have to wait for Gemma to go to bed so I can get onto the TV, so I may not be on till later.
