  1. Picked up a few retro things recently. Got a boxed copy of Banjo-Tooie for my birthday, Daikatana and Robotron carts (N64), Perfect Dark for GBC. Also picked up a PS3 slim from Game for £30 with MGs4, Resistance, Heavenly Sword and Killzone 3. Couldn’t resist for the price seeing as I have a bunch of PS Plus games added to my account since I had a PS4. Any recommendations for PS3 exclusives? Only after stuff that hasn’t been rereleased this gen.
  2. I had a few games on Battlefront 2 and in terms of all the progression and pay to win stuff it’s a very different game. Only cosmetics are for sale for money, you choose what upgrades to get that you want, not random. It’s basically the game it should’ve been at launch.
  3. Rick and Morty: Virtual Rickality (PSVR) This was a fun few hours. Puzzle adventure sort of thing, and quite enjoyable if you like the show. Spider-Man (PS4) Great game. Decent story, plenty of the usual open world stuff if you can be bothered, but just swinging around the city was fun enough to justify playing.
  4. Darksiders Warmastered (Switch) Finished it years ago on 360. Still a good Zelda/God of War copy with a story I didn’t really follow and a few bland environments. Well worth a play if you missed it seeing as it’s a budget release. About 15 hours to finish.
  5. Well, around that but you get A and B scenarios for each character plus Hunk and Tofu missions
  6. Resident Evil 2 is out today! Argos have it for £36.99 on console which is about a tenner cheaper than Amazon.
  7. Playstation Classic down to £50 on Amazon and Smyths. Probably worth a punt.
  8. Diablo 3 on Switch is down to £32.99 in the Amazon Cyber Monday thing.
  9. It’s not too late. Ends on Sunday.
  10. If anyone has a Nectar card with a bunch of points you get double value if you spend them by Sunday in certain departments. This includes games, so £20 of points= £40 of stuff. They’ve done it for a couple of years, so I’ve had a few games etc for nowt, and save points until this promo is on. https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/gb/groceries/get-ideas/features/our-brand-features/double-up?langId=44&storeId=10151&krypto=Vl5p8RGCWl1AonRHfYLnJqxLK118rOBmXwbJMpTOVgxy5X4gYA0gstPbICY52taD4FR872blqFYmng%2F5vcix%2FvLSy8lGBIFBBVZcXm3h8BjZ8ZcLatarqrawz2913Xw1zw
  11. Haven’t said that they are doing one (I expect next summer).
  12. Just saw an article on Eurogamer saying HDR is broken, so turn it off. Hopefully when I try it tonight it will make it all look a little less dull. I played it a bit more and am enjoying it more. Just done a few more story missions, but not a fan of the micromanaging of the settlement, to the extent where I’m not even bothering. This is exactly the sort of thing I would have loved when I was at uni or part time, but put me off Fallout 4. I don’t have time for it.
  13. I’m finding it a bit slow so far. Too much new information, not enough shooting (although even that is clunky). Also struggling to read the text and mini map icons. It looks great but perhaps a little washed out in HDR. Might be my TV, or they’ve gone for a softer, more realistic look. Need to play more.
  14. Big bunch of amiibo back in stock on the Nintendo UK store if anyone is still collecting them. https://m.store.nintendo.co.uk/amiibo/view-all.list?pageNumber=1
  15. So this is cool. You can now directly add photos to the forum without imgur or anything.
  16. Not online, but Primark have quite a collection of gaming clothing for cheap. I got some Pacman socks and Snorlax slippers, but there were some cool Mario and Sonic shirts. Worth a look.
  17. Amazon have 6 months XBL Gold for the price of 3, so £14.99, same deal as they have done before.
  18. Mafia 3 (including season pass) is £8 on the gamecollection today if anyone wants something cheap and pretty good. I played it a bit and the music and atmosphere make it worth a go at that price.
  19. £5 off certain pre orders at Smyths, home delivery or click and collect. God of War (getting rave reviews) down to £40.99 with it.
  20. Just saw Tomb Raider. Not too bad, and very true to the reboot games. Felt a little lacking and a bit predictable like most origin story films, but interesting enough. Better than Indy 4. Worth a watch but maybe wait for the blu ray or for it to hit Netflix.
  21. Toys R Us and Maplin have gone to the wall. Closing down sales are on if you have stores nearby. Might have some gaming bits or components.
  22. SNES Classic Mini is down to £64.95 on thegamecollection.net on their daily flash deal. So much for limited stock!
  23. Anyone want Bayonetta 2 on the Switch? Dont think Im going to play it. I already used the code to download Bayo 1. £30 delivered. Let me know or it will be off to Game or ebay at the weekend.
  24. If you have a large Tesco near to you there are some bargains. Probably varies by store, but I picked up a Lego Dimensions level pack for £7.50 (rrp £30), an official Xbone media remote for £2.50 and some Mario Rabbids figures at £2 each. Other stuff at that price included various headsets, console vertical stands, play and charge kits and other random bits.
  25. £10 off £50 spend on Amazon with code BIGTHANKS. Today only and doesnt work on digital or preorders. They also have bogof on 3 months of XBL gold, works out as £15 for 6 months which isnt too shabby.
