  1. Last week
  2. I think I’ll wait until Halo and then buy some Halo version or something. First time I can remember that a new gen was released without any new gen games. Although that might just be me out of touch of what’s happening.
  3. Yep, you don't know what you're missing Now I have things downloaded they look shinier, load faster and have higher frame rates. I'm looking forward to trying The Medium next week. Quick resume so far hasn't worked for me. Overall I'm glad I have it but so far nothing has wowed me like Adtros Playroom on the PS5.
  4. Lol. Sounds like next gen gaming to me!
  5. First impression, it's heavier than it looks. Second: Lots of updating and downloading. Third:....
  6. Earlier
  7. Well done mate - I'll pick one up at some point I guess when they are more readily available!
  8. Managed to secure a Series X! Got the all access bundle from Game and it's being delivered on the 31st I'm looking forward to it despite there being no massive new games, although The Medium is out at the end of the month and that looks pretty interesting.
  9. Remnant from the Ashes (PC): Not bad. Mechanically good but the level scaling is a bit too obvious which means you dont get to feel more powerful at any point (instead of areas having a set level, they have a minimum level and then when you enter them, they level up to match your highest levelled weapon). Additionally the levels are procedurally generated which robs them of a lot of potential to surprise and tend to feel quite samey, and they're always flat, you never travel up or down anywhere interesting. Also the bosses are pretty easy. It's fine though, at 7/10.
  10. I quit Control after about an hour and you get that first mini boss, just couldn't down the fucker at all no matter what I tried.
  11. Noooo, absolutely not. I'm not sure if it's because I lost loads of bits or you just can't. Just go with what suits your play style. You literally can't complete the maze until late game.
  12. I've just started control and have just got to the Astray maze. I keep going around in circles so though I'd forget about it until later. It does annoy me that you lose those bits things when you die, it's made me spend them when I have them. Were you able to upgrade everything? I feel like I don't want to have to pick and choose.
  13. The Gardens Between-Bone- A great little puzzler worth anyone's time, especially as it's on Gamepass. Shades of Braid and Brothers. Played it through in one sitting which was probably 20 minutes longer than it should have been thanks to one particular level. Give it a go
  14. Control-Bone-I liked this but it was more and more frustrating as I got closer to the end. It just felt like tougher and tougher enemies in a combat arena. It reminded me of Uncharted 3. Worth a play, but hopefully the sequel, if there is one mixes it up a bit. I preferred Quantum Break...and Alan Wake. And Max Payne 3(yes I know they didn't make that one) EDIT: I also forgot to mention the awful check pointing. One standout moment is the Ashtray maze, absolutely out of leftfield.
  15. Ass Creed Valhalla (XSeX) if you liked Origins and Odyssey it's more of the same. Not being able to craft arrows is a pain in the arse.
  16. It is, but sad though. Not felt that for a while. Might get the DLC.
  17. I had a similar experience to you - good to finish it eh.
  18. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild. - My word. I think it took me around 4 decent efforts to actually get into this game, to the point where Far Cry 4 was taking me away... It’s incredibly complex and daunting at the beginning, the chocolate weapons really grate and the scope just put me off. When it finally clicked though I loved it. Ended up getting all the memories and finding all the shrines before seeing off Ganon. Loved the last level as I was a complete tank and taking the castle head on and detecting everything in my path felt genuinely enjoyable. GOAT (seems to be in an in-word
  19. Streets of Rage 4 (Switch) The Outer Worlds (XBox One) Sonic The Hedgehog (Mega Drive) All Chaos Emeralds I have played this a few times since we started making the lists, the 3D version on 3DS in 2014 and the version on the Sonic Classics Collection on the original DS in 2010, but I don't think I've ever got all 6 chaos emeralds - just had to concentrate on the bonus levels to make sure I avoided going in to the exits.
  20. Cyberpunk 2077 secret ending This was so damn good, its a ballache that you have to basically follow a prescribed route to get it and either spoil the game or be very lucky with your dialogue options. Also the nomad ending which was just ok, and the "give up" ending which was just heart breaking.
  21. Streets of Rage 4 (Switch) The Outer Worlds (XBox One) Fun enough, but man those load screens.
  22. Right let's get this party started! Streets of Rage 4 (Switch) Yeah baby! Only 26 years after SOR3, which I wasn't a fan of. Finished this with my bro, plays great online too.
  23. Resurrecting this with The Wonderful 101, I think I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a game less than this. It's like, constantly irritating.
  24. Cyberpunk Johnny Silverhand ending Much more satisfying ending but still lacked that oomph that I want, but from the spoilers I have seen there's not really going to be an ending that's going to floor you.
  25. Nearly 100 hours in and finished cyberpunk 2077, arasaka corporate ending. Wasn't worth the time it took, luckily it saves just before your choice so you can go back and change it.
  26. I hate to say it, but I am still having the best time with this game, some minor side story and romance option spoilers below. So one of the side quests was, quite frankly one of the best experiences I have had in any game. There is a convicted murderer who found god in prison, and is sentenced to death. He makes a deal with a brain dance network to die on camera as part repentance and to help a world where religion has fallen into obscurity and extremism to help people find god and make peace with themselves. Bit silly and generic sounding I know, but Johnny gets his finger in this pie a
