Seems some of my suspicions were right, you have to be an authorized seller of used games, so not only can they deactivate your installed game before you get home, but it means prices for 2nd hand games will be astronomical.

Sony really need to grab the bull by its dick here and have another PS2 era of awesomeness.
I'm hoping for a new PC soon so it doesn't particularly bother me either way, but I'm certainly on the Sony bandwagon this generation. Hell, even a Wii U looks more enticing, with or without its 2 games.

Yeah, it has nothing to do with the Xbox One announcement. They just price matched the Tesco/Asda price drops from earlier this week around the same time as the announcement.
I mean really, why would you buy a Wii U as a result of one of the two next gen consoles being diappointing? You'd hold off for a PS4, not buy a Wii U.
