It's slightly less awful if you fiddle with the camera and aim speed settings. Still waiting for the bargain bin version though. Maybe I'll dig out RE4 in the mean time.

Resi 4 still holds up as one of my favorite games, yes it was more action based than the previous games but it still kept that horror feel that was completely lost with 5 and it seems lost with 6 as well.

5 was the worst game I'd played in this generation.

Finally started the actual game, and it actually isn't too awful. I've finished the Leon campaign and it was quite enjoyable as an action game. It's not scary at all though.

Since launch they have patched it quite a bit so you can now alter camera position which helps quite a bit. Worth picking up, but I wouldn't "buy it at a high price." Will report back after I try the other campaigns.

This is only £13 at ShopTo (poc) so I'll take a punt at that price.

Forgot to report back! Very enjoyable all round. Chris' campaign was least interesting as it was all shooting. Jake had some interesting ideas with hand to hand and Ada filled in story blanks quite nicely. Definitely not unhappy having paid £15 for it.

How long are the three campaigns? Does it feel like 3 games rolled into one?

Is the merchant actually in it?! Where was he in RE5?

So worth picking up cheap? I might have to take a look as after the demo I avoided this like the plague. I think the 1st RE main game I haven't purchased.

I'd say about 8-10 hours for the 3 main ones, 5-ish for the Ada campaign. Each character handles differently, but similar enough to not feel like different games. Also they cross paths in a few areas but never really feels like retreading old ground.

No merchant. In fact no upgrades/stores for weapons. You have to pick them up. Your character/s can pick 3 perks that are bought with XP collected from dead enemies. XP is essentially the new name for money in this. It sounds worse than it is.
