I know some of you cunts use them and thanks to shift work I often find myself awake when Bec is asleep so what's your head set recommendations? It'd be mainly for the ps4. Wireless isn't a necessity but would be nice and I'd like a mic on it too.

Give me your brains!

Get the Wireless Sony Headset 2.0. It's £50 at tesco ATM, and seems pretty good. I am ordering one tomorrow.

Yep, using that myself. Added bonus is it works perfectly with PC too.

Are there any wireless ones that work with PS4 and xbone?

redit seems to suggest the Sony 2.0 Papa linked works perfectly with an Xbox One. In game chat and audio etc.

I had a Razer Kraken Pro for a while which was excellent but sadly the audio died in one ear (maybe my fault for running over the cable with my chair too many times?)

Now using a Logitech G35 and it's excellent, 7.1 digital surround, good microphone, good sound quality. USB cable rather than jack though.

I had seen the sony one actually. Didn't realise it was 7.1! Bonus!

I always assumed that with things like headsets there'd be a 3rd party who would do it better and cheaper.

Yep I use the Sony one.

It works with the bone, but you have to have a cable plugged into it from the headset for chat.

BOUGHT! Missed them in the sale cos I'm a fuck monkey but they were £48 in CEX so I got them.  I'm impressed with the settings for individual games, although it's probably bollocks and makes no difference.  Not sure why they need a dongle though.
